I am an AFC (accredited financial counselor) with experience volunteering with 3rd Decade and helping young adults learn successful money management skills. I've mentored over 20 individuals through this program and highly recommend it. I also have 2 year of experience with the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program offered through the United Way helping low income individuals and families file their taxes, maximize their credits, and understand how to read their tax forms.
Most importantly, I am a father of four (26, 19, 6, and 3) and husband. My wife (Lauren) and I have four cats as well to keep us busy. Reading is a passion of mine and I cherish playing dinosaurs and Minecraft with our young boys. I work in supply chain at a food manufacturer during the day and outside of work, I enjoy helping our kids and others learn to take control of their finances and avoid the mistakes we have made. Budgeting (or spending plans as I like to call them) is an important step in the process of becoming financially stable and growing your net worth.
My wife and I have paid off over 27,000 in credit card debt. It isn't easy, but it can be done. You have to give yourself grace and take it a day at a time. You are in the right place and taking a giant step for yourself. I can't wait to meet you!
Some fine print about our fine coaches.
